Where can I rent jet ski in oceaan city. I will be staying at crystal beach on the board walk. How safe is the bay to jet ski in?

The bay is very safe to jet ski in if you use common sense. Be aware that some, but not all of the rental places limit the area you can jet ski in. Also, this summer there are lots of jellyfish in the bay, so if you have a wet suit or surf shirt be sure to wear it. You can save money by going in the morning or by looking online or in Sunny Day or other coupon magazines for a discount coupons.

I took my son deep sea fishing on the Judith M last year on July 16th for his 8th birthday.  there were alot of children on board.  www.judithmfishing.com

It leaves out of the Bahia Marina.  He had a great time but did get sick due to the rough seas. (get dramamine and ginger pills)  www.bahiamarina.com

Also, the Sunny Day guide in Ocean City usually has coupons.

You will need to make reservations as the spots fill up quickly.

In the evening, they also have a non fishing sunset cruise on the same boat.

We will be staying at the dunes Motel, and would like to have an idea of some of the things we can do. Like water slides, shopping etc. I have a 12 and 13 year old going with us both girls. Some ideas for them also.

The Dunes motel is a great place to stay. It is at the north end of the boardwalk at 27th Street. Here are a few of the many, many great things to do in OC:

- Enjoy the great OC beach, not just during the day, but try flying a kite or taking a relaxing walk in the evening
- Walk or take a bike ride on the boardwalk. You can ride in the morning and there is a bike rental place right next to your motel. It's just 2.25 miles to the inlet and there are lots of great shops and places to eat along the way
- Visit Jolly Roger Amusement Park, Splash Mountain, or Speedworld at 30th Street. They are all great fun. Try out the new zip line ride at Speedworld!
- Mini golf. There are locations all over OC, including several you can walk to
- Try one of the famous OC treats, Thrasher's Fries, Dumser's ice cream, Fisher's popcorn, Candy Kitchen candy, and may others
- Take a tour boat ride. Two tour boats, the Sea Rocket and the OC Rocket often see dolphins.
- Enjoy several of OC's great restaurants. Be sure to eat one night at a place where you can watch the sunset on the bay. Fish Tales is nearby and is a great choice.
- Visit the Life Saving Museum at the south end of the boardwalk or go to one of their daily talks to learn a little more about something you are interested in
- Drive down to Assateague to see the ponies. Be sure to stop at the new Visitor's Center.

Have a great trip!

There are several cruises in OC that go out in the evenings. Some are private charters, so it will be difficult to name them all. Here are a few possibilities (the websites listed will have all contact and other information:

A fishing head boat called The Angler runs an evening cruise. It is located at the Angler Restaurant at Talbot Street on the Bay. You can get more information at http://theangleroc.publishpath.com/angler-headboat. Here is a picture of the boat:

There are also two tour boats, the Sea Rocket and the OC Rocket that often see dolphins and will head over to get a better view of them when they see them.  You can get schedules and discount coupons on their websites

You will have a great time in OC. There are tons of free things to do. If you go to this website you can get a great listing of them: http://ococean.com/freeforall/

In addition consider visiting Northside Park on 131st Street which has a great playground for kids and the Assateague Island Visitors Center (on Route 611 just before crossing the bridge to Assateague). A new Visitor's Center was built last year - it is much bigger and has lots of interactive exhibits, a touch tank, and a movie.

Don't forget two of the greatest things, playing on the beach and walking on the boardwalk!

Have a great trip!
