Higher Ground Helicopters has been in business since 2004. Originally specializing in helicopter flight training, we have grown and expanded our services into varied commercial venues. Today we offer additional services such as:

·         Aero Photography

·         Filming for various movie producers

·         Search and rescue

·         Air rides at large events including state fairs

·         Helicopter Tours

At Higher Ground Helicopters, We pride our students to be safe, respectful, and capable. After successful completion of training, our students become instructors by teaching new students to fly. After our new instructors build up enough flight hours, we invite them to pilot commercial jobs with us such as those listed above. Our pilots receive continuous training to provide our customers with a safe and enjoyable flight.

Custom Tours
Custom Tours are always welcome. If you font see the tour you’re looking for in our preset tours, just call and set up a custom tour of your liking. We can take you anywhere to see anyting. If you can think it, we can fly it. All custom tours have a one hour minimum time limit.

Do I need an appointment?

We do recommend you call and set up a time and tour. There are a lot of people who want a birdseye view of OC.

How many people can go at once?
There is a minimum of two people and a maximum of 3. Kids under the age of 24 months can sit on the lap of a parent at no additional charge.

Do I Tip the pilot?
Tips are never expected but are always greatly appreciated.
