Hugh T. Cropper Inlet Parking Lot
The Hugh T. Cropper Inlet Parking Lot is located at the southern most point of Ocean City. Utilizing this parking lot makes visiting the boardwalk and beach easier and allows the visitor to relax and enjoy their activities – whether it is enjoying the rides, visiting some of the Town’s well known eateries, strolling the boardwalk, or spending the day on the beach. The parking lot has 1,200 parking spaces including 35 handicap parking spaces. There is also a passenger load and unload zone. The parking lot is open 24hrs, and is in operation from April 15 to October 15. However, spring, summer and fall rates are in effect during our operating season.
To access the parking lot, you will obtain a ticket at the entrance to the parking lot (We recommend leaving your ticket in your vehicle to prevent it from getting lost or damaged.) The cost for a lost ticket depends upon the day of the week as well as the time of year the ticket was lost. Please see the “NOTE” for the cost. Upon leaving the parking lot, present your ticket to the lot attendant for payment. Forms of payment are cash and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover).
SPRING & FALL RATES:
The spring rates are in effect from April 15 to the Thursday prior to Memorial Day. The fall rates are from Labor Day to October 15. The rates are as follows:

PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED PATRONS:
In order to accommodate our physically challenged patrons, a 90-minute grace period is in place. This allows those person(s) to view the ocean or pick-up an item from the boardwalk. In addition, there are handicap parking spaces located near the beach as well as the boardwalk just for these purposes. However, if the length of time spent in the parking lot is 91-minutes or more, the person will have to pay for the entire time spent in the parking lot, in accordance with the parking fees listed above.
DELIVERIES:
Due to heavy traffic, pedestrian and vehicle, delivery vehicles are urged to make all necessary deliveries prior to 10:00 a.m. Although this is not mandatory for delivery vehicles, the Town has implemented FREE access for delivery vehicles until 10:00 a.m., after which those delivery person(s) will be required to pay a parking fee, in accordance with the parking fees listed above. This policy will take effect on April 15 when the parking lot opens. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.
