Dear Neighbor,

I am pleased to report that we continue to make improvements to your Ocean City Parks System. Construction on a new concession/restroom/pressbox at Northside Park will begin in November. By next summer, we hope to have this new facility open in time to support our many baseball and softball programs. I am also pleased to announce that we are adding online registration for Recreation Programs and activities. Look for this new service in late Fall.

I am also pleased to announce our newest staff addition. Gary Collier has joined the Parks Division as the new Parks Assistant Superintendent. Gary comes to us with an extensive background in public parks management having most recently served as the Superintendent of Parks for the Worcester County Recreation and Parks Department. Gary will be working closely with Parks Superintendent Calvin Ginnavan and the other Division Managers to provide the best quality parks and recreation facilities available for your leisure needs.
