Celebrate the nation’s symbol!

Ocean City will hold a special Flag Day ceremony at 12 noon on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the opening of the O.C. Air Show.

The U.S. Navy Seals Jump Team will fly the National Colors to the drop zone in the vicinity of 16th Street on the beach. Once on the ground, the team will present the U.S. Flag to one of the country's veterans.

The fifth annual O.C. Air Show will fly over the skies of Ocean City on Saturday and Sunday, June 9-10, from 12 noon to 4 p.m. both days.

Concerts on the Beach provide free, live entertainment with tribute bands and local favorites. Treat yourself to a collection of summer beach music, watch the sun set, view the sparkling blue ocean and dance by moonlight. There is no better setting for relaxing than Concerts on the Beach. The beach beat will have your hands clapping and your toes tapping to the variety of entertainment from 8 to 9:30 p.m. each Wednesday evening in July and August (except for Wednesday, July 31st.) Bring your picnic basket and beach chairs to Northside Park, located at 127th Street and the Bay for ice cream sundaes and live entertainment. Sundaes in the Park is a family concert series offered Sunday evening inJuly and August from 7:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. For a small fee enjoy your own ice cream sundae creation as you listen to your musical favorites and watch the sunset over the beautiful Assawoman Bay.
