About Centerplate Catering Company Centerplate is proud to be the exclusive caterer for the Roland E. Powell Convention Center.

We are committed to offering the highest standard of food quality and service to our customers. Centerplate gives you the option to plan a custom menu or you can choose to use one of our stand menus to accommodate your event. From catering snacks and beverages for a business meeting of 10 to a plated or buffet dinner for a reception of 3,000, you can choose from a selection of house-made Maryland crabcakes, local rockfish, Chicken Chesapeake and more.

To view the 2013 Catering Menu Guide, please click here. Enjoy Centerplate's menu almost anywhere in the convention center. Centerplate has you covered, providing hors d'oeuvres, carving stations and premium full bar service in your private boardroom or bayfront ballroom.

You can also host a reception outside on the waterfront outdoor terrace. If you have a smaller event, our concessions area features modern and regional cuisine from breakfast to a midday lunch or snack. You can also have food brought directly to you with the OC Cafe' kiosk.
