My photography work is focused on family portraiture along the beautiful beaches of Ocean City, MD, and at Assateague Island and in my studio.  What beautiful locations for a family portrait!

Photography has been a part of my life for a long time and my experience includes everything from photojournalism to fine art, to weddings to portraiture. I financed much of my college education photographing weddings for Paul Jordan Studios in Baltimore MD.  During my thirty year career in education I taught photography in both high school and college and remained active in wedding and portrait photography as well as photojournalism and fine art photography. I also earned a Master of Arts Degree in European History.

My popular fine art works include images of Ocean City, Delmarva, New England, the American West and Europe.

Over the years my photographic and journalistic work has been published in the Baltimore Sun, Chesapeake Bay Magazine, Eastern Shore Times, Beachcomber and various specialty magazines.

I have created and published several periodicals on the lower shore, best known of these was the Entertainer Magazine, a visitor guide published in Ocean City during the 1980s.

A long-time member of Professional Photographers of America, I have studied with many of the country's greatest wedding and portrait photographers, including the late Monty Zucker, the late Don Blair, Ken Whitmire and Don MacGregor, all masters of portrait photography.
