Art is fun! Now kids ages 5-7 can roll up their sleeves and bring out the best of their creative selves as they “dabble” in a variety of art experiences. Co sponsored by the Art League of Ocean City, the focus will be to develop and strengthen creative skills, encourage imagination, and foster a sense of individuality and self expression.
Camp director Rina Thaler is a professional artist and has taught art to children of all ages. Assisted by other working artists, and using artist grade materials, campers will explore line, shape, color, value and texture in a variety of media. Activities will include: drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpting and collage. Campers will produce works of art that are both fun to make and artistic, which they can take home.
Camp will culminate with a “gallery reception” for parents to see what they have produced. Campers will be given a camp t-shirt.
