Hit the Beach or the Park

You’ll find all kinds of kids’ activities in Ocean City, Maryland. That means playgrounds, tot lots, tennis courts (including kid-size), beach volleyball, softball, soccer and lacrosse fields, and more. Ocean City’s extensive park system offers all kinds of opportunities for picnics, play and family fun.

Movies on the Beach at 27th Street are on Mondays and Fridays from June 23 to August 8, 2014. 
Movies on the Beach at the Princess Royale (91st St.) are on Thursdays from July 3 to August 28, 2014.
Movies on the Beach at the Carousel (118th St.) are on Wednesdays from June 4 to August 27, 2014.

Movies begin at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Family Beach Olympics are held on Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the 27th Street beach. This free event includes sand castle contests, tug of war, relay games and more. Children must be accompanied by a parent. June 24 to August 5, 2014.

Free Concerts on the Beach feature free music for the whole family, Wednesdays from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the N. Division Street beach. Bring your beach chairs and/or blankets, and enjoy beautiful music in a beautiful setting. July 9 to August 27, 2014.

Sundays mean Sundaes in the Park. This popular event combines a free concert with ice cream for a small fee at Northside Park, 125th Street (bayside) from 7 p.m. to approx. 9 p.m. While parents enjoy the music, children will enjoy special entertainment just for them. Fireworks will end the night at 9pm! July 13 to August 24, 2014.

Free Morning programs and demonstrations are held every day at 10:00 a.m. at the Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum (south end of the boardwalk). See feedings at the museum’s aquarium and learn about sharks, beach safety, knot-tying, and more. July 7 to August 30, 2014.

Weekly camps galore.

If your child is into it, there’s probably a week-long camp for it.
