From our free beach to our seaside movie nights, some of the most enjoyable activities in Ocean City are free.

OC Beachlights  features a five-story tall inflatable sphere with visual laser, lighting, special effects, video and audio production with visibility along the boardwalk. Each show is approximately 8 minutes in length beginning at 9:30 p.m., 10:00 p.m., and 10:30 p.m. Saturday, May 25 - Special Patriotic Show. Sundays nights. May 26. June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30. July 7, 14, 21, 28. August 4, 11, 18, 15. September 1.

Movies on the Beach at 27th Street start at 8:30 p.m. every Monday and Friday, from June 24 - August 9, 2013. Movies start at around 8:30 p.m. and run to around 10:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Movies on the Beach at the Princess Royale at 91st St. - Special showing Tuesday, July 2.  Thursdays in July & August. July 11, 18, 25. August 1, 8, 15, 22, 29.

Movies on the Beach at the Carousel Hotel at 118th St. - Wednesdays, June, July & August. June 5, 12, 19, 26. July 3, 10, 17, 24, 31. August 7, 14, 21, 28.   

Both will have movies beginning at approx. 8:30 p.m. 

Arts on the Dock  Local artists showcasing their work on the docks of the Ocean City Fishing Center Marina. Thursday evenings from  4 p.m. - 7 p.m. June 13, 20, 27. July 4, 11, 18, 25. August 1, 8, 15, 22, 29.

Family Beach Olympics  are held Tuesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the 27th Street beach.  Events include sand castle contests, tug of war, relay games and more. (Children must be accompanied by parents or guardians.) June 25. July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30.  August.

Free Family Programs  are held Monday through Saturday at 10:00 a.m., at the Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum (south end of the boardwalk). See feedings at the museum’s aquarium, learn about sharks, beach safety and knot-tying, to name a few. July 1 - August 24.

Beach Fireworks  Come join us for Beach Fireworks! Each show is approximately 8 minutes in length and begins at 10:00 p.m. Fireworks will be visible along the boardwalk. Mondays & Tuesdays. July 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, 30. August 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27.

Free Concerts on the Beach  feature music for the whole family, Wednesday evenings from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Division Street beach. Bring your beach chairs and/or blankets, and enjoy beautiful music in a beautiful setting July & August. Concerts: July 10, 17, 24  and August 7, 14, 21, 28.

Sunset Park Party Nights  are held Thursday nights in July and August. Watch the sun set over the Isle of Wight Bay from the perfect location in Ocean City! Sunset Park is located along South Philadelphia Avenue on the Bay. Event begins at 7 p.m. and runs to approx. 9:00 p.m. Admission to the park is free, while beverages, including beer, are available for purchase.  - It is recommended that attendees bring their own seating.  July 11, 18, 25. August 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29.

Sundaes in the Park  This popular event combines a free concert with ice cream for a small fee at Northside Park, 127th Street (bayside) from 7 p.m. While parents enjoy the music, children will enjoy special entertainment just for them. NEW this year: fireworks show each week! July 14, 21, 28. August 4, 11, 18, 25.
