From our free beach to our seaside movie nights, some of the most enjoyable activities in Ocean City are free.

Family Movie Nights start at 7:30 p.m. every Monday and Friday with arts, crafts games and other activities on the beach at 27th Street. Movies start at around 8:30 p.m. and run to around 10:30 p.m., weather permitting. June 28 through August 13, 2010.

Additional movies on the beach, Rain or shine: Wednesdays July 7, 14, 21, 28 and August 4, 11, 18, 25 at the Carousel Hotel at 118th St. & Oceanside. Movie begins at 8: 30 p.m. Thursdays, July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 and August 5, 12, 19, 26 at the Princess Royale Hotel at 91st St. & Oceanside. Movie begins at 8:30 p.m.

Free Concerts on the Beach feature music for the whole family, Wednesday evenings from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Division Street beach. Bring your beach chairs and/or blankets, and enjoy beautiful music in a beautiful setting July 14, 21; August 4, 11, 18, 25, 2010.

Ocean City's Sizzlin' Summer of Stars. Come see live performances by your favorite stars heard on Radio Disney - Jasmine Sagginario, Anna Margaret, Josh Golden, and Allstar Weekend, and an EXCLUSIVE meet & greet with Jason Earles!

The Family Beach Olympics are held Tuesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the 27th Street beach, June 29 – August 10, 2010. Events include sand castle contests, tug of war, relay games and more. (Children must be accompanied by parents or guardians.)

Bonfire and Story Hour on the Beach. Bonfires are back! Join us every Thursday night from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. with your beach chair and blanket. Enjoy the leaping flames, and a wide variety of lively speakers and storytellers. N. Division St. and the Beach. July 8, 15, 22 29; August 5, 12, 19, 2010.

Sundays mean Sundaes in the Park. This popular event combines a free concert with ice cream for a small fee at Northside Park, 127th Street (bayside) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. While parents enjoy the music, children will enjoy special entertainment just for them. July 11, 18, 25; August 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, 2010.

Morning shows and demonstrations are held Monday through Saturday at 10:30 a.m., at the Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum (south end of the boardwalk). See feedings at the museum’s aquarium, learn about sharks, beach safety and knot-tying, to name a few.
