Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum (South End of Boardwalk at Inlet)
Up for some heroics? Relive the adventures of the U.S. Life-Saving Service, a predecessor of today’s Coast Guard, at the meticulously restored Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum. Children love the Aquarium Room, featuring huge saltwater tanks with an ever-changing display of amazing sea creatures. You’ll also find fascinating exhibits of shipwrecks and old-fashioned beachwear. Plus mermaid displays, sands from around the world and Davy Jones’ locker. Unique gift shop with interesting selection of nautical gifts and books. Small admission fee. June-Sept, daily 10 a.m. -10 a.m.; May and Oct, daily 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Nov and Dec, weekends 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. During winter months, please call for hours. Boardwalk at the Inlet 410-289-4991
