Circa 1910. Rail service in Worcester County has run from 1872 until the present. Queponco was a vital part of this system until 1960 when due to lack of demand for passenger service, the use of the depot dwindled and was sold to a private citizen. In 1991 a local group aquired the depot and worked to repair and preserve the station. It is open to the public on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of May through October, from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. Off season by appointment. .
