Step into a decade of the past when you snap your photo in front of the retro SeaLoft Oceanfront Motel mural. Facing north at Caroline Street and the Boardwalk on the corner of Fun City is a “Greetings from Ocean City MD” mural! Designed based on a retro town postcard, the large art piece features throwback images within each letter. Take a stroll through town, and you’re guaranteed to spot some art sprinkled about. In 2004, the Ocean City Development Corporation kicked off a program to add art to the otherwise drab and gray utility boxes around the city. If you’ve ever crossed the Rt. 50 bridge or walked around downtown, you’ve likely seen the white marlin statue located in Entry Park. In 2000, the sculpture was added to the OC entrance to commemorate the town’s status as the White Marlin Capital of the World!

At the foot of the Rt. 90 bridge sits a must-visit sculpture. The iconic dolphin art piece welcomes visitors to town and makes for a great photo! Fun fact: The dolphins’ names are Clearwater, Haven Hunter, and Summer.

The Spillin’ the Wind eagle sculpture located at the 144th Street Transit Center is the third statue in the town’s entrance sculpture trio. Completed in 2006, the eagle welcomes drivers as they enter Ocean City from the town’s north Coastal Highway entrance.

Take in the downtown OC skyline when you venture onto the OC Fishing Pier. Entrance is permitted for just $1 and allows you to see the beach just like the dolphins do — from within the ocean! Whether you’re snapping a photo of the umbrellas lining the beach, the OC skyline, the waves, or the love locks, the pier makes quite the ‘grammable spot.

When you embark on any of these exciting journeys, you’re guaranteed to see some seriously breathtaking views. Don’t let the excitement stop you from taking a photo! 

Whether you’re a golf aficionado or you like to keep the sport casual, there’s no doubt about it: Lighthouse Sound offers some of the best views of OCMD. Take in the scenery while you play, and snap a few photos while you’re at it.

Trimper’s offers iconic carnival-esque vibes, and their Carousel is a classic! Get a photo on the ride to be part of its 100+ year history. It’s meticulously cared for and features over 40 hand carved animals.

Ride the ferris wheel for sky-high views of the town from above. The 108 foot wheel is guaranteed to show off OC’s beauty.

Visit the Life Saving Station Museum for a photo in front of the giant anchor. This 19th century anchor was recovered from a shipwrecked boat!
