No, according to fire laws, no grills, fires, or hibachis, etc are permitted on the beach or dunes or decks in Ocean City.  And HEFTY fines for those who do. There are public barbeques at Northside Park on 125th St. They are charcoal, and first come first served, and you are required to remove the ashes and remains afterwards.

I am not aware of any establishment with this name in Ocean City, MD. There is a store with this name in Ocean City, NJ; perhaps that is the place you are referring to.

I'm planning on bringing my Dad to OCMD for the first time in the middle of September. He's older and can't walk long distances. Will the Boardwalk Tram be running after September 16? Thanks!

You can and many people do.  The only restriction is that you are behind the lifeguard stand.  I would ask the lifeguard where you should set up and then you can just do that every day you come to the beach.  I also recommend setting up above the high tide line.  You should also tie or weight down the legs as we have seen these blown down.

Hey Dennis, Here's the info you'll need:

Hello! Is September still a nice time to visit OCMD? We would likely come around the 20th. Would I still be able to swim in the ocean, or rent beach chairs? Thanks!

September is a great time to visit! It tends to be less crowded and most shops and restaurants are remaining open past Labor Day. Also, since it is the end of the season, you may be able to find good deals in town on all your beach needs - chairs, umbrellas, towels.

We're thinking of visiting the weekend of September 7th. Will the beach still be open for the season? With lifeguards?

Hello! I'm looking for a vendor who was at Springfest. I've forgotten their name, but they were selling remade clothing. I bought two tops and have not yet received them. I would love to check in about my order/get my money back. Thanks!
