Greyhound services stops to West OC and from there, they have a bus into OC.  Once in OC, the bus travels the length of OC north to south and back for only $3 for an all day ride.  OC also has a boardwalk tram that will take you the length of the boardwalk all the while enjoying the view of the ocean.

Anyone know of a place to rent a double jogging stroller in OC this summer?

No, I'm sorry it doesn't.  It only runs for Sunfest weekend early in May, then doesn't run again until Memorial Day weekend for the rest of the summer.  I'll be at Cruisin and ready to walk along with everyone else.  Can't wait.

I am thinking about heading to OC 3/16/2015 through 3/18/2015 for a short getaway. What can we expect to be open as far as businesses, entertainment, etc.? Thanks!

Sorry we're so late answering your question. The big excitement was this past Saturday for the St. Patrick's Day weekend, but you'll find that plenty of restaurants and bars will still celebrate on the actual day.  I suggest you pick up the free newspapers at your hotel or at the Convention Center on 40th St. and check out what's going on around town.  Places like Seacrets and Shark on the Harbor are open, along with plenty of other places. Enjoy your mini vacay.

What route would you recommend to get from University of MD College Park to OCMD?

From College Park, take the Beltway (I-495) East (inner loop) to Route 50 East (It's about 10 miles from College Park to Route 50 on the Beltway). Get on Route 50 East towards Annapolis. Continue on Route 50 East for about 120 miles and you will arrive in OC. It typically takes about 2-1/2 to 3 hours to make this drive. You will have to pay a $6 toll (for a car) at the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. There is no toll on the return (westbound) trip. There are no other tolls on this route.

If I take the bus from the Convention Center, will the $3 bus allow me to bring my luggage on the bus? Is that accepted?

Eve,

I believe you can bring some luggage along but I'm sure there is a limit what you can bring. I couldn't find any rules on line but did find a number you can call for additional information.

For more information, call the Transportation Department at 410-723-1606 or City Hall at 410-289-8221.

Hi Tara,

There is a Greyhound Station http://www.greyhound.com in Hyattsville on 4700 Garden City Drive and you can get service to West OC MD.

Hello, I am from Dublin, Ireland and I will be visiting Ocean City this summer. I am flying into Washington Dulles airport. I was wondering what would be the best way would be for me to get from the airport to Ocean City. Maybe a bus would be best? Thank you!

Get to the Metro (either shuttle to East Falls Church or 5a Metrobus to Rosslyn), then metro to NY Avenue Station, then walk a couple of blocks to Greyhound station, then bus to Ocean City. For details on getting from Dulles to DC, see http://www.washingtonpost.com/gog/misc-locations/washington-dulles-international-airport,796838.html" rel="nofollow">http://www.washingtonpost.com/gog/misc-l... For the bus from DC to Ocean City, see the Greyhound web site. Also, on weekends you can take the DC2NY bus from DC to Rehobeth DE (http://www.dc2ny.com/pages/beaches.aspx%29," rel="nofollow">http://www.dc2ny.com/pages/beaches.aspx)... then the DART bus to Ocean City (http://www.dartfirststate.com/information/programs/beachbus/index.shtml%29" rel="nofollow">http://www.dartfirststate.com/informatio... It's going to be a long trip, and these buses don't run very frequently, so double check the schedules and make sure you will have enough time to make your connections.

Or you can take a cab or fly into BWI and take the Bay Runner Shuttle right into OC.  I think this option would be less time consuming.   Good luck.

What happened to Dandy Don's Bike Rental? I think the guy's name was Ray. Did he retire? The building was for lease last weekend.

Just the one building is closed. There had been two, but the owner decided to go back to just one location at 12th St.
