Ask an OC Insider

I'm looking for some bachelor party planning advice in Ocean City. Where are some places to go out to eat? Nightlife? Day activities? Any and all insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Insiders!

Checkout one of my favorite bars . Seacrets (This is a must do!) The Purple Moose, The Cork Bar, Bearded Clam, and The Alibi Room. are all lots of fun! Checkout the local music scene to see who is where and when by looking here.

Take the Seacrets Distillery Tour - The OCIs did it, and it is fabulous! Find out more here.

There are several local breweries and wineries in the area. Click on the links, and check one or more of them out!

If your crew likes adventure in the great outdoors, consider a kayak trip. I've been out several times with Assateague Outfitters - they do a great job and the trips are a lot of fun. Plus, you will see the famous Assateague wild horses! No experience required.

Getting a bunch of guys out on the go cart track is always a great time. Speedworld at Jolly Roger at 30th Street has some crazy great tracks. For a more traditional go cart experience, checkout Baja Amusmements in West OC.

If anyone likes to gamble, visit The Casino at Ocean Downs, about 5 miles outside of OC on Route 589, Racetrack road, about 1/2 mile north of Route 50.

Seacrets and Fages are like bachelor and bachelorette head quarters in Ocean City. I would plan you itinerary on heading there a few time during your stay.

Of course Seacrets lol. It's fun day and night. They have live music, good food and drinks. During the day you can lounge on the rafts in the bay. You can also schedule a tour of their distillery. I did it back in April and it was really fun.

Purple Moose is fun too, its on the boardwalk and they have good bands playing each weekend.

The Sandbar is a karaoke bar (33rd and Coastal Highway) They don't serve food so this would be a good night time activity. It's the best karaoke bar I've ever been to.

The Harborside is another one of my favorite spots. It's home of the famous Orange Crush drink which is delicious. They always have live music or a DJ and good food. Only thing is it's in West OC so you would have to take an Uber or Taxi if you don't have a DD.

Parasailing is also a good day activity. I like OC Parasail on 312 Talbot Street because they take you out to the ocean and you have a nice view of OC from there. I recommend making an appointment, also check a Sunnyday Guide for coupons. All hotel lobby's have them.

Have fun in OC!

There are quite a few places that welcome what you have planned. Fagers Island, Seacrets, Mackeys and you can also check out the water sports rentals at Bahia Marina and Fish Tales for some day time fun.

Seacrets. Seacrets. Did I mention Seacrets? Make sure to check out their new distillery tour! Many other quality nightlife options can be found HERE. During the day, there are also a lot of options- golfing, jet skis, go-karts- countless options, really. Make sure to stop by the visitor center at the convention center or the info booth on the boardwalk to grab plenty of money-saving coupons!

Have fun!

Rent some jet skis.  Check out Odyssea Water Sports. They have jet skis, kayaks, pontoons and more. https://odysseawatersports.com/

Go carts?   Baja Amusements on Rte. 50 in West OC has easy to experienced courses to test your skill and have fun. Or try the race track at Speedworld which is super fun .  http://speedworldoc.com/

I would go to Fager's Island, BJ's, Macky's and Seacrets for dinner and night life.  Seacrets also has day drinking areas and rafts to spend a day drinking on the bay.  For dinner, you could also try Tequila Mockingbird.  Cowboy Coast is fun if you like country music.
