Locals tend to order Natural Light (aka Champagne of the Eastern Shore) and a shot of Sambuca. Also a favorite is Hoop Tea...offered in several different flavors, is made local, and is refreshing!

Deion, a few places have their signature drink. I'm guessing that's what your asking about.

Places like Harborside Bar and Grill, the creator of original "Orange Crush".

Seacrets and their famous "Dirty Banana" drink.

Pickles Pub has the "Pickle Shots".

Crabcake Factory and famous "Crab Bloody Mary"

Try any of these and you'll be happy.

We love an orange crush!  Our favorites are at Macky's, BJ's and Fager's Island.  Macky's sells a 48 or 64 ounce bucket of your favorite drink - I can't remember what the size is because, well, I drank the whole drink.  Tequila Mockingbird also sells a big ass margarita.  Seacrets is great for a variety of drinks - most notably Seacrets distills their own liquor.  It is all amazing!  I highly recommend the bus to get back and fourth on those nights where you imbibe.

There's no question that THE CRUSH is the signature alcoholic beverage in OC. The orange crush is the original flavor and no doubt the most popular and is certainly worth a trip to Harborside to taste one from the originators. The beauty of the crush though is that there are so many different types and almost every place you go will have their own take on it. Some will not be as good as others, but they are all worth a shot. No pun intended. One of my faves is the champagne crush- at one of the newer spots in town- Shotti's Point. Make sure to try to hit up happy hours as often times you can catch a discount on a crush!

The Orange Crush at the Harborside in West OC is my favorite and one of the most famous in OC.  They have good food and entertainment there too. If you like the crush, they have an orange crush cake which is just as good!

Coconuts at Castle in the sand Hotel also has orange crushes plus other tasty drinks. They make a good dirty banana and Queen Ann Slam which is similar to the Pain in the A$$ at Seacrets.  Their happy hour is 5-6pm daily and it's 2 for 1..great deal!

Seacrets is the best place in OC  day & night. They have rafts in the bay to relax and enjoy your drink.

I'd give that nod toe the Orange Crush. Several places claim to be the originator, but I believe that Harborside in West OC has the most credible claim.

BTW, while the recipes vary a little, an Orange Crush is made with fresh squeezed OJ, Orange Vodka, and Triple Sec.

I'm not a big drinker, and while everyone loves the orange crush, I had a watermelon crush at Da Lazy Lizard that was well worth it.  I liked it much better than the orange one.  But you really can't go wrong with either version.
