The best place to start looking is the OCOCean Accommodations page.

If you want a house or condo, rental agencies in OC and lots of different properties at a wide range of price points to meet you need. I generally suggest starting by looking at the web listings an then contacting an agent to finalize your rental and seeing if you can find out more about the properties you are considering.

Two realtors I have used and that I routinely recommend are:

    Coldwell Banker:  800.633.1000

    Shoreline Properties: 800.492.5832

If you think you prefer a hotel, here are a few oceanfront options.

The Dunes Manor is just north of the boardwalk at 28th street. All rooms are oceanfront with balconies. Any easy walk to the north end of the boardwalk. They have an indoor/outdoor pool. This is one of my favorite properties in OC, and the place I always recommend if I am only recommending one place. My family stays there often.

The Holiday Inn & Suites at 17th Street is a very nice oceanfront place directly on the boardwalk with great pools, lots of amenities, and rooms with balconies.

Holiday Inn Ocean Front (67th Street) is a great ocean front property with a large outdoor pool, tennis, indoor pool, game room, and lots of other amenities. My family as stayed there many times.

The Castle In the Sand at 37th street is a great midtown location. The hotel is ocean front; they have several buildings and all types of rooms. They have lots of amenities including volleyball and an outdoor pool.

The Comfort Inn Boardwalk  is oceanfront on the boardwalk at 5th Street. It is closer to the south end of the boardwalk where there is tons of action, but far enough north to be not too noisy at night. They have and indoor and outdoor pool. My son stayed there a last summer said it was great. It will be a little less expensive than the options listed above.

Sahara at 19th Street on the boardwalk with ocean block buildings too. A basic motel that will be clean, but will not have lots of amenities. It is likely the least expensive place on this list. They have and outdoor pool.

For more hotel/motel recommendations, take a look at this thread for more ideas.

Have a great time in OC next May!

The Quality Inn, Spinnaker, Clarion and Dunes Manor offer good options.  They are newer hotels and all offer ocean view rooms.  The Barefoot Mailman is another good option and they allow pets.

Try the Clarion on 100th ST.  It's one of my favorites.  http://www.clarionoc.com

There are hundreds of oceanfront hotels and condos to choose from all along the 10 mile beach in Ocean City.  Start your search at http://www.ococean.com/accommodations . You can find hotels or condos there. Click on any of the real estate agencies listed there like Coldwell Banker http://www.cbvacations.com , Holiday Real Estate  http://www.holidayoc.com  or Long and Foster  http://www.lfvacations.com

For hotels, some I can recommend are the Holiday Inn Suites on 17th, the Grand Hotel on 21st., the Dunes Manor Hotel on 29th, Holiday Inn Oceanfront on 67th St. , Princess Royale on 90th St., Carousel Hotel on 118th St.  There are just so  many.  Decide if you want to stay on the boardwalk or not. The boardwalk ends on 27th St, but you can get an oceanfront hotel or condo anywhere along all 10 miles of our beach up to 146th St.
