hey mario alcohol is not allowed on the beach. unless you go to the closest bar which there are plenty on the boards, purple moose, the bull on the beach, and others that do serve. don't get caught or otherwise you will get fined.

Alcohol on the beach is not allowed and can land you a ticket.  My advice is to drink at home or a local bar or restaurant.

Nope.... though many will sneak on and many get away with it. The lifeguards have the right to pursue the person getting fined.

Have a great smoothie on the beach instead!

In general the answer is that consumption of alcohol is not allowed on the beach.

There are a few exceptions. A few hotels along the beach have liquor licenses that allow them to serve people on the beach. Only beverages bought by from these establishments can be consumed on the beach in designated areas, generally in front of their properties.  There are only a  few such places, The Castle in the Sand (Coconuts Bar) is one of them. The reason these places can provide this service is due to provisions in their liquor licenses that were typically established about 50 or more years ago. The other exception is special events. In some cases these events are permitted to sell alcoholic beverages as part of their events. Such beverages typically need to be consumed within the event's designated (usually controlled or fenced) area.

There are not cases where private individuals can legally bring and consume their own alcoholic beverages on the beach.
