Are emotional support animals allowed on the beach in May?

No, but if you are in town- there is a nice dog park on 94th street that would be worth checking out.

If my reading is correct, by law service dogs are allowed on the board walk at any time but ESA's follow the same rules as all other dogs.

Unless an emotional support dog is an ADA-approved service animal, and very few emotional supports dogs are, it is not allowed on the OC beach or boardwalk from 1 May thru 30 September.

No they are not, sorry.  Dogs in strollers or other conveyances are also not allowed from May through September.  Dogs are allowed on the beach from October through April though.
