Is there a train station, bus station or Zipcar rental that is available for getting to and around Ocean City?Submitted by Ciara D, NEW YORK New York on March 19, 2015
Greyhound services stops to West OC and from there, they have a bus into OC. Once in OC, the bus travels the length of OC north to south and back for only $3 for an all day ride. OC also has a boardwalk tram that will take you the length of the boardwalk all the while enjoying the view of the ocean.
There is great public transportation in Ocean City. The B, or Beach Bus runs 24/7 in the summer from one end of town to the other and is only $3 to ride 24 hours as often as you like. OC also has taxi cabs, and there is a tram that runs on the 2.5 miles of the boardwalk as well.
Greyhound Bus also has stops in Ocean City, and a Bayrunner Shuttle that runs from BWI and Salisbury.
Lots of ways of getting around in Ocean City.
There is no passenger train station or Zip Car pickup/dropoff location within 50 miles of Ocean City.
Ocean City has excellent public transportation, including frequent bus service that lets you easily get almost anywhere in OC for just $3/day. Yo can find out more about OC Pubic Transit here.
Once you arrive in OC, getting around is easy. There is The Bus, not to mention taxi cabs are readily available.
There is also an Enterprise Car Rental in Ocean City that offers daily and weekly rates. You can find them at http://www.enterprise.com. The bus is your best bet though.
I would try the bus it is 24 hours a day 7 days a week. you can ride it for $3 and make sure you hold onto your wristband you will need that every time you board the bus. you can visit http://www.ococean.com and click on getting around OC for more information.
