Hit the Beach or the Park

You'll find all kinds of kids' activities in Ocean City, Maryland. That means playgrounds, tot lots, tennis courts (including kid-size), beach volleyball, softball, soccer and lacrosse fields, and more. Ocean City's extensive park system offers all kinds of opportunities for picnics, play and family fun.

Family Beach Olympics are held on Tuesdays from 6:30pm to 8:30pm on the 27th Street beach. This free event includes sand castle contests, tug of war, relay games and more. Children must be accompanied by a parent. 

Movies on the Beach at 27th Street are on Mondays and Fridays.
Movies on the Beach at 118th Street (Carousel Hotel) are on Wednesdays
Movies begin at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Dance the evening away with live entertainment hosted by DJ Batman every Tuesday from 7pm to 9pm at Ocean City's Caroline Street Stage on the beach!  Grab your beach chair, blanket, and friends and head downtown for an evening of interactive entertainment.  A full schedule of guest performances and themes will be available soon.  Come early to get a prime spot on the beach to enjoy the music and dance in the sand.

Sundays mean Sundaes in the Park! This popular event combines a free concert with ice cream (small fee) at Northside Park, 125th Street (bayside) from 7pm to 9pm. While parents enjoy the music, children will enjoy special entertainment just for them. Fireworks will end the night at 9pm! 

OC Museum Programs and demonstrations are held every day at 10am at the Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum (south end of the boardwalk). See feedings at the museum's aquarium and learn about sharks, beach safety, knot-tying, and more.
